About Us
An Australian state of the art decortication IP has been derived from the late Adrian Clarke, who dedicated his life to the hemp industry in Australia.
Adrian’s knowledge and dedication to this industry concluded that Australia has a great opportunity for the manufacturing of industrial hemp from the process of farming cultivation through to the processing plant, hence his Australian decorticating IP.
Australian Hemp Manufacturing Company is a subsidiary of DSD (Developing Sustainable Directions) Pty Ltd, a research and development company.
CEO Darren Christie understood Adrian’s dedication. Knowing there is great value in the Australian economy for building products and processing of the raw material future adding to value chains, such as, bio fuel ,paper, insulation batts, particle-boards, clothing industry ,fibreglass and cement replacement. The last 15 years has seen Darren subjecting the decorticator into its rightful applications. This pass of decortication fast tracks international processing.
Still, major investment is required for the economic growth of an Australian industry.
AHMC is passionate about farming production to processing which in turn gives the industrial hemp industry a great thriving direction for growth and soon it will be able to give back to the timber industry and relieve pressure off our rapid consumerism and deforestation.
This decortication system is an advantage for our farmers to value add their crops which gives substantial returns. Minimal use of chemicals and pesticides maintains sustainable farming practices.
Helping Our Life Cycle and Eco System
Opportunities are given to several industries for the application of hemp in approximately 20,000 different products.
AHMC with partnering company’s AusHemp Pty Ltd, their farming expertise combined with Dolce Cann Global Pty Ltd acronymizing the future of a highly cultivated non-THC Variety that will add value to the thriving building industry product lines.
AHMC partnered with Melbourne university over the last four years with intergraded technology designing a wall panel to replace petrochemical foam, making hemp a sustainable building future, as well as a newly designed hempcrete binder for the future of healthy living housing.
AHMC is now moving its processing plant to Seymour this will ensure logistics and transport costs becomes paramount. Cost savings are inevitable for AHMC to make this process viable into markets succouring the farmer gets more value for his fibre crop.
Together with industry partners the aim is to scale up production with forecast projections into 2025 growing commercially 250 thousand hectares around Australia thus using rail and cost savings.
The 2030 program would allow us to quantify one million hectares around Australia giving every state opportunity for more upscale production.
Our philosophy and direction will make the hemp industry in Australia very lucrative and export markets become what Australia has been renowned for.
We are the resource to the rest of the world; we are Australian grown we are Australian owned and Hemp is the new Australian economy driving it into the future.
